HOW DO I BECOME A SALT SPRING LITERACY VOLUNTEER?

Volunteer tutors are required to complete 12 hours of basic literacy tutor training, provided through Salt Spring Literacy

"As a volunteer tutor with the Salt Spring Literacy Society I have had the privilege of working one-on-one with people who have decided to make a change in their lives. Specifically I have been assisting adults, whose second language is English, achieve a greater level of fluency so that they may pursue their personal goals. The opportunity to help others in this capacity has been a richly rewarding experience."
