Our Learning Together program offers learner directed, one-to-one tutoring for adults wishing to upgrade their basic skills. We offer help with reading, writing, math, and computers. We also offer support to those enrolled in coursework: high school or college courses, and other online courses, including drivers’ tests.

Each learner discusses their goals, is assessed, and then carefully matched with a trained volunteer tutor. The learner/tutor pair work together for 1-2 hours a week at Salt Spring Literacy or at a mutually-agreed upon location.
